 My Theme This Year Is...

FLOWER POWER!
My Oh My! We are doing it..yet again! How fun!  Much thanks to that beautiful, creative gal, Karen Valentine for making this happen!  5th year! Last year my studio was in Portland, Oregon.  September brought more changes for me (only 2 months after posting for the 2012 WBC party),  I moved to Las Vegas to be closer to my 94 year old mom. She was having some health issues that called me to be closer to her and help her with the end of life process.  Making her transition in January of this year, from " Independent Living " into " Assisted Living"  has had me going through some real " emotional stretching " for sure. It's so very sad to watch your mom become weaker and weaker.. A heart that has become worn with time. So I ask myself what is it I can draw on to keep my vibe high and not get pulled into the sadness? My Art. I rented a condo here and made the place into my art /healing studio...Here are the pictures. Enjoy! The second bedroom is under construction and that is where I will do other art projects and quantum-reiki. Will post that room when I finish designing it.

I have been inspired by this book, this year and it has been a GOD SEND from my daughter-in-law! It has led me to painting..and writing! ( She is a GOD SEND) ...Thank you Mrs. Absher!

I have been very inspired by these two books, as well, and have been teaching myself to paint with acrylics.

This is where I am sitting.. blogging to you! The end of the chaise is where I make my jewelry. I also give over-the-phone intuitive readings in this space. Thinking about covering the mirror in leather. How do you RE-Imagine It? Huge Chalkboard?

One of the things that got me back into painting was participating in Wine and Canvas..they are going on all over the country! Soooo much fun!

Presenting another RE-Imagine That! Artist ~Bobby Furst!

 Hope you all had a great 4th of July week-end!

A long one indeed! My son, daughter-in-law and I had an opportunity to visit an amazing assemblage artist in Joshua Tree, California. We went to his art compound after a wonderful " Summer Solstice " celebration in Pioneertown, CA.
 His name is Bobby Furst and he " Re-Imagines " most anything into unique and wonderful pieces of art. The mixed media that he uses in his art may include musical intsruments, old signs, ribbons and string, wire, cables, wheels, spokes, chains, bones, helmets, bells, clocks, lights .... you name it!  Taking everyday objects and creating pieces that challenge our mind and spirit to "SHIFT" into that deeper perspective regarding social, political and enviornmental issues. I was especially taken in by this art installation. The word peace is made out of empty bullet casings which depict all the waste of lives that war brings about. Behind it he has placed the American Flag. Books sit below with the names of soldiers that have died in war. This photo I doctored up for the 4th of July, but you can see what an amazing artist he is. The rest of the photos are of his Art Pad and Art. Enjoy!

How do you want to RE-Imagine yourself? As you can see by this blog that is my intent! Spurring on the whole re-imagining process in you!. That is what I do. We are energy and energy moves and creates more energy and sometimes it gets stagnant and stuck and  does all sorts of  crazy things. With the Summer Solstice and the Big Moon to our back and the endless possibilities for joy in our future, I invite you to conjure up some ways you might want to re-invent yourself! Will you work on the outside and your surroundings or will you work on some inside things that need a re-do? Perhaps you need to re-think a situation that is causing you worry or concern. Whatever the case, if this applies, the time is ripe now...as all the energies are moving in our favor, for a better version of who we once were and currently are. Cast off all the heartache, the relationships that did not go right, the things that did not go according to plan and forgive and project peace into each situation that brought you to this place.Clean out your spaces and places of clutter and disarray to help simplify your- Here and Now. This is what we have at our fingertips and it is time to set the energy right and choose thoughts that will bring us that JOY. Take an inventory of what you want to see in your future world and start to visualize it in your world now. Today. 
" Act as if " you already are it or have it and you will bring it into form. So go out today and do one thing that has you FEELING as if you already have what you think you don't!   Die to the old song and dance and wake up to a new you!  I found this photo in the archives this morning. I snapped it in Portland last year.

I doctored it up by adding the light wave at the bottom. I wanted to depict in the image, the association of us being love and love as a wave, a vibration.

As I was designing this photo I started thinking about how we might become the vibration of love, stay in the vibration of love....(especially when we are feeling all "heady" and everything) so as I pondered this and BE LOVE and the things below came to me....! (If you think of more please put it in the comment box!)

CALL A FRIEND AND TELL THEM YOU BELIEVE IN THEM

HUG and SMILE at EVERYONE YOU SEE TODAY

.......and on and on and on! Once you take the time to just do one of these, notice how different you FEEL!

 I am in the business of helping people RE-Imagine themselves..so this party is right up my alley! One of the services I offer in my RE-Imagine That! business is helping people RE-Imagine their spaces. I just moved my studio to the upstairs portion of the house. Last year I was downstairs and shared with you that studio, for this party from 

"The Get Back Experiment" Blog.

    I have been RE-Imagining my own Studio into something that will allow me to offer all my services comfortably in.

This is the house! The window at the tippy-top is where I have my studio!

As we move up the stairs and around to the banister this is what it used to look like........

I then started to shift things around, brought the IKEA desk from downstairs up.

 ...and the RE-Imagining of my space began!

Pulling out the fabric and letting the design ideas flow...

Coming up the stairs again, walking around the banister..

So I needed places to make my " Be the Change " jewelry.

I needed a place to sit and give my clients ~ over the phone~ intutitive readings, remote reiki sessions and help them create a new life script.

I also needed a place to blog, paint, craft and photograph. 
Lastly....

I needed a place to give my quantum-reiki energy balancing sessions..

I had to get creative to fit all these activities in this one space..sooo

this is where I am sitting blogging to you right now!!!

This is an area that I can craft, make my jewelry, photograph and paint..you name it, separate from the other areas and all my bells and whistles sit behind me under a the black table which is also a workspace....

This is the chair that I give over the phone readings, remote energy healing and life-scripting...

This is where I do my beading work..

It has casters so I can pull it out and sit on the floor..love that!
